Full Stack Software Engineer
DEVELOPMENT TEAM
Rootshell Security are looking for eager engineers to work on our SaaS Cybersecurity Platform and our AI assisted Threat Intelligence platform. Both projects are PHP based written in Laravel 10 and Symfony 6.
You’ll be working in a small team of engineers on a remote basis. Candidates must be based in the UK.
Role Responsibilities:
– Developing a cutting-edge Cybersecurity Saas Platform to a high standard.
– Working in a team on monthly sprints across different facets of the application. (Frontend and backend)
– Contribute on daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives.
– Delivering features and peer reviewing team members’ work.
– Working in a TDD/BDD approach.
– Provide guidance and mentoring to teams and team members.
– Contributing and helping to maintain Open-Source Projects.
Essential Skills and Experience:
– Knowledge of PHP, preferably PHP 8 and above
– knowledge of VueJS/Javascript or Typescript to a ES2022 standard.
– Knowledge of MySQL or Postgres.
– Experience with Laravel and/or Symfony framework.
– Experience in writing and maintaining Unit, acceptance, and E2E tests.
Additional Skills:
– Experience using Static analysis tools, codesniffers, Docker and Git
– Experience using AWS is a big plus.
