The main responsibilities and duties include:
Developing PHP code using Laravel framework
Collaborating with other team members (developers, designers, marketers, etc)
Developing secure, maintainable, performant, user-friendly software.
Designing systems that adhere to security and process compliance.
Collaborating with Cloud and DevOps engineers on application infrastructure, automation, deployment, and security.
Creating, maintaining and enhances CI/CD pipelines.
Stays current with contemporary software engineering best practices.
Experience with developing web applications using Object-Oriented PHP and SOLID principles.
Understanding of common web security topics such as authentication/authorization, XSS, SQL injection, CSRF, IDOR, logic vulnerabilities, code injection etc.
Understanding of REST APIs.
Strong in JavaScript and libraries such as jQuery.
Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Strong in version control systems (preferably git), branching strategies and resolving merge conflicts.
Experience with code review processes via pull/merge request reviews.
Experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
Experience with AWS
2–5 years of experience building production-quality software.
Bachelors or Masters degree and/or equivalent professional experience
