Job summary

We are looking to recruit two full-stack web developers to join our Application Development team in Canterbury.

You will work on a wide variety of projects using open-source technologies. We work primarily with Laravel. You must have experience of modern object-oriented PHP, HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Experience with Agile, CI/CD, TDD and/or mobile application development is a plus.

These arenew roles ina new and ambitious team, seeking to provide robust and innovative digital services to patients and staff, and to bring software development in-house wherever we can.

Main duties of the job

Upcoming projects include developing patient-facing web applications, APIs and mobile applications, building tools to assist clinicians and the redesign/redevelopment of the portfolio of Trust websites.

The successful candidates will be self-motivated and will have a love for learning and new technology. You should have a knack for problem solving and critical thinking, with knowledge of architecting solutions and breaking business requirements into achievable technical tasks.

This role is perfect for an ambitious developer looking to hone their skills and grow with the team, whilst making a positive impact on patient care.

This role is based in Canterbury with scope for flexible and/or remote working.
