WordPress Developer

We are looking for a full time WordPress Developer to join our award-winning Development Team.

Your role will include accurately hand-coding bespoke web projects, crafted by our talented in-house Creative Team, maintaining and developing existing client sites and projects, all across a wide variety of both brochure and eCommerce sites.

You will ensure that your work meets both the client’s brief and technical specification.

We are looking for someone with an active interest in the latest and greatest technologies and someone who isn’t afraid to push the boundaries of what is possible!

As an agency we pride ourselves on our integrity, our desire to improve and our technical know-how and we offer a friendly and positive workplace with lots of social opportunities.

This role requires your attendance at our Colchester studio at least three days per week.

The salary offered will be based on experience and skill-set.

Vital skills

You will be competent in the following:

  • Comfortable with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Comfortable with WordPress
  • Comfortable with Tailwind CSS
  • Comfortable with Git to version control projects
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • High attention-to-detail
  • Have an active interest in web technologies
  • Willing to learn new skills and enhance your knowledge
Desirable skills

It would be an advantage if you know the following:

  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Experience with Blade & Twig
  • Experience with Bootstrap & Foundation
  • Experience with Vue JavaScript Framework
